Current projects:

1. Tennis academy for talented players
● aimed at young tennis players from primary to secondary school level
● at the primary school is offered an option of tennis preparation to kids within the individual schedule at the elementary school Hostynska, Prague 10
● training is during regular school hours
● at the secondary school level the focus is on the selected players at the Tennis Center for Youth, TC Vestec
● long-term target is to develop successful professional tennis players who will represent Czech Republic on the highest performance level with ranking in TE, ITF, WTA, ATP

2. Junior tournament SAFINA CUP
● international tournament overlooked by ITF (International Tennis Federation)
● organized at I.CLTK Prague (First Lawn-Tennis Club)
● introduction of successful juniors from all over the Europe

3. Tournaments for kids
● SAFINA MINI CUP, SAFINA WINTER CUP in Tenis-Centrum Cesky Krumlov
● serve as an incentive for kids to get interested in the game of tennis
● organizational support of selected tournaments

Projects planned for the years 2005-2010

1. International tournament
for kids and juniors in partnership with the International Lawn Tennis Club in Czech Republic (IC) that is under the patronage of Czech tennis legend Helena Sukova

2. Kids’ tennis tour

3. VIP tournament
that would be organized during SAFINA CUP for participants to be able to view the juniors’ finals matches, all would be followed by banquet


Projects carried out in the previous years

1. Presentation of the PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) president, Dennis Van der Meer (U.S.A)
● the underlying themes were modern trends in tennis teaching
● the biggest attention was paid to the choice of proper means to achieve the highest efficiency in training process

2. European workshop of coaches
● program contained presentations of altogether 22 specialist in the area of sport training, mainly related to tennis
● some of the presentations were dedicated to the work of national tennis federations and associations
● Marek Moravec, for Kids and Juniors Tennis Advancement Organization, introduced 10 on court tennis exercises made for 4 higher performance level players for the age of 14 years

3. VIP doubles tournament
● Organized at I.CLTK Praha, Stvanice
● 1 pair consisted of 1 guest and 1 I.CLTK player
● tournament accompanied SAFINA CUP 2004 and SAFINA BABY CUP (kids’ tournament)
